A great opportunity to make new friends, share experiences, and learn from one another – giving the LGBTQIA+ families of Northwest Arkansas
a community where they can feel supported and gain the knowledge and resources necessary to thrive!
The Equality Crew has helped me to meet people that are like-minded and helped me feel safe and protected even when the outside world does not. I know there's someone watching out for me when I'm with them at an event, and everyone is so kind and supportive and welcoming.
Welcome to Rainbow Families.
Youth will be able to interact with each other through learning, connecting, and resource sharing.
Parents of LGBTQIA+ kids will be provided with the opportunity to have their own space to sit and discuss their experiences raising LGBTQIA+ children with other parents.
They will also have a Group Facilitator with a background in family counseling and experience as a parent of an LGBTQIA+ youth to offer advice and resources.
Parents can also provide input that helps shape our programming and events for The Equality Crew.
Second Sunday of each month from 1-3 pm!
Location will vary depending on weather and planned activities and is provided upon registration.
