Affirming Teachers and School Staff Database

The Affirming Teacher & School Staff Database is crucially important for LGBTQIA+ youth in Arkansas.


This database helps connect students with school staff and teachers who support their identities and provide a safe and inclusive learning environment.


For many LGBTQIA+ youth, school can be a difficult and unwelcoming place, and having affirming teachers and staff members can help these students feel validated, accepted, and empowered to be themselves.


As part of our work, The Equality Crew connects LGBTQIA+ youth with affirming teachers and school staff in their school building through our confidential Affirming Teacher & School Staff Database.

For Teachers

Please follow the steps we've included below to create an account and complete the database registration form.


By completing this form, your contact information will be added to The Equality Crew Affirming Teacher & School Staff Database and will only be shared with LGBTQIA+ youth within your school district/building who request to be connected to affirming teachers and school staff.


The information you provide will not be publicly shared with anyone other than LGBTQIA+ students within your school district and/or their guardians.


  1. Click here to create your account.
  2. You will receive a confirmation email. Click on the link provided in the email to choose your login name & password.
  3. Once your login name and password are created, you will be directed to the account menu. From the dropdown menu, please select Update My Teacher Profile.
  4. Please provide and update the requested information to be included in the Affirming Teacher & School Staff Database.

For Youth

Please complete the following confidential form below.


We will review your request and respond within 24 hours, Monday through Thursday. If the request is submitted on a Friday, we may not respond until Monday.


We'll make sure to reply with the name, grade/subject, and email address of a teacher or school staff member in your school building.


You won't retain or use any identifying information for any other purpose.


We will NOT share student information with anyone, including teachers, school staff, or administration.
